The range of services has expanded at the same pace as medical-diagnostic advances have been over the last decades: Ultrasound, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging have transformed diagnostic imaging in a most enduring way. Dr. Peter Riedl was among the first to make use of these developments. Success increased along with the number of innovations. His partnership and cooperation with Univ.-Doz. Dr. Lucas Prayer, Dr. Wolfgang Drahanowsky und Univ.-Doz. Dr. Peter Barton, MSc, MBA, all of which are now partners in DZU began in 1991, all of which are now partners in DZU. The practice has been known as the DiagnoseZentrumUrania, DZU since 1995.
The most modern X-ray procedures are offered on 2,500 sq. meters today. DZU currently employs 11 specialized physicians, 27 radiologic technologists, a staff of 30 in the administration and 4 employees who are in charge of keeping the center clean and orderly. All examinations are directed performed and completed under specialized medical supervision of the highest quality. Patients can pick up their mammography , ultrasound , fluoroscopy , X-rays and bone densitometry images and reports shortly after the respective procedure. CT and MRI images and reports are usually available the next working day as of 5 p.m at our reception on the ground floor. Patients can take advantage of our extended services on Saturdays, Sundays and in the evening. |
